### Madix (DRAFT - Updated)
**Status:** Draft Updated version for review
**Customer:** Madix Inc.
**Industry:** Retail fixtures and display systems manufacturing
**Role:** Largest TallyFlow Capture customer
**Overview**
Madix produces store fixtures and display systems for retailers across the United States. They photograph and document the pre-shipping condition of shipments to protect against damage claims. Their previous image capture system relied on rugged barcode-enabled cameras that uploaded photos via FTP to an internal network share — a setup that had become difficult to scale.
**Challenges with the Legacy System**
- Outdated FTP-based image processing tied to internal infrastructure
- Limited categorization (images could only be grouped by a single folder-based field)
- Required VPN access for remote viewing, making retrieval slow and cumbersome
- Hardware nearing end-of-life with no clear path to scale
**Solution: TallyFlow Capture (formerly PhotoTag)**
SDG Systems delivered a white-labeled, cloud-based version of TallyFlow Capture tailored for Madix. The solution enables field teams to capture photos with barcode and RFID data, automatically sync them to the cloud, and make them searchable and secure across the organization.
**Key Capabilities Delivered**
- **Data Association:** Barcode and RFID capture (via scanner or camera) to link rich metadata to every photo, including timestamps, GPS location, user-defined tags, and predefined categories.
- **Cloud Synchronization:** Photos upload automatically in the background and are available across mobile devices and a web interface with bidirectional sync.
- **Search & Categorization:** Powerful filtering by category, tag, location, date, and custom fields — eliminating the need for VPN access or manual folder navigation.
- **Security & Access Control:** Enterprise authentication with granular permissions so users only see images they are authorized to view.
- **Scalability:** The system now handles tens of thousands of photos per week reliably.
**Results**
Madix gained a modern, scalable, and searchable photo documentation system that supports their damage claim process while removing the limitations of their legacy FTP and network share infrastructure.

### MKB Company (DRAFT - Updated)
**Status:** Draft Updated version for review
**Customer:** MKB Company
**Industry:** Manufacturing (Erosion control products)
**Overview**
MKB Company manufactures erosion control products and ships from multiple locations across the country. Their operations generate significant paperwork, including bills of lading, warehouse transfers, receipts, and signed delivery documents.
**Challenges with Manual Paperwork**
Before adopting the solution, MKB relied on manual processes to manage shipping and delivery documentation. Field personnel often had to call the office to check order status. Receipts were physically mailed to accounting, causing delays in payments and occasional lost documents. Organizing and retrieving specific paperwork was time-consuming and error-prone.
**Solution: TallyFlow Capture (formerly PhotoTag)**
MKB integrated TallyFlow Capture to digitize and organize their shipping and delivery documentation. Team members capture photos of paperwork in the field and tag each image with relevant identifiers such as bill of lading numbers, shipment locations, or work order numbers.
**Key Benefits**
- **Document Digitization:** Photos of bills of lading, receipts, and signed deliveries are captured and tagged on the spot.
- **Cloud Accessibility:** All photos automatically sync to a secure cloud repository, eliminating the need to mail physical documents or manually email files.
- **Easy Retrieval:** Users can quickly search and filter photos by barcode, work order, location, or custom tags — removing the need to sort through stacks of paper.
- **Improved Communication:** Field teams and office staff share a single source of truth, reducing status inquiry calls.
**Results**
MKB Company achieved meaningful time savings and improved operational efficiency. The shift from physical paperwork to a searchable, cloud-based photo system has streamlined their shipping and delivery processes.

### Network of Hope Food Bank (DRAFT - Updated)
**Status:** Draft Updated version for review
**Customer:** Network of Hope Food Bank
**Industry:** Non-profit / Food distribution
**Location:** Butler, PA
**Overview**
Network of Hope Food Bank operates a client-choice food distribution center in Western Pennsylvania. With approximately 156 shelf locations, the team needed better visibility into inventory location, quantities on hand, and items distributed each week to maintain accurate stock levels and efficient operations.
**Challenges**
- Difficulty locating specific food items among many shelf positions
- Manual tracking of distributed quantities was time-consuming and error-prone
- Staff frequently had to call to check item status or location
- Risk of over-ordering (wasted premium shelf space) or under-ordering (running out of needed items)
**Solution: TallyFlow**
Network of Hope implemented TallyFlow using a barcode-based system (chosen over RFID due to item proximity and volume). The system uses three types of barcodes:
- **Zone barcodes** Identify specific shelf locations
- **Category barcodes** (cat:) Identify food types for reporting and organization
- **Item barcodes** Uniquely identify each case of food
**Workflows Enabled**
- **Stocking:** Volunteers scan zone, category, and item barcodes to enroll new inventory and record initial shelf location.
- **Distribution:** Staff use the Categories by Zone report to create pick lists and efficiently pull items. Items are scanned out to a distribution area.
- **Put-Back:** Surplus items are scanned back into specific zones at the end of distribution.
**Key Benefits**
- Real-time visibility of inventory by category and zone
- Accurate tracking of what was distributed vs. what remains on the shelf
- Reduced time spent searching for items or making status calls
- Better ordering decisions based on actual usage data
- Reports available in the web app and exportable to Excel
**Results**
TallyFlow has helped Network of Hope significantly improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. The system allows the team to focus more time on serving the community rather than managing paperwork and manual tracking.

**Focus:** FSMA 204 Food Traceability
**Overview**
Houser's Produce Farm operates a produce distribution business and needed a robust system to track product movement through their supply chain for FSMA 204 compliance and operational visibility.
**Solution**
TallyFlow was implemented to provide end-to-end visibility of produce as it moves through receiving, storage, and distribution. The system uses RFID and barcode technology to track assets and generate reports on location, duration, and movement events.
**Key Capabilities**
- Real-time tracking of produce through the supply chain
- Exception management and reporting for compliance audits
- Zone-based location tracking with duration reporting
- Exportable reports for regulatory and donor requirements
**Results**

**Status:** Draft Updated version for review
**Customer:** Component Repair Technologies (CRT)
**Industry:** Manufacturing / MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations)
**Focus:** High-value component tracking and repair workflows
**Overview**
Component Repair Technologies needed a system to track high-value components as they moved through complex repair and maintenance workflows, beyond simple receiving and shipping.
**Solution**
TallyFlow was deployed to provide visibility into asset location, movement history, and time spent in various zones during the repair process.
**Key Capabilities**
- Tracking of high-value components through multi-step repair workflows
- Zone duration reporting to identify bottlenecks
- Exception management for items that deviate from expected processes
- Flexible workflows that go beyond basic inventory tracking
